  • Chinese language classes

              China Study Link's Chinese Language Director Cao Fang has developed an effective and engaging Chinese Language course. Cao Fang has many years of experience in teaching Chinese as a foreign Language. She has owned and operated a well-known and successful language center in Beijing. All classes are taught by high-quality teachers with many years of experience, making China Study Link's intensive language course one of the best in Beijing. See the Training Center
              If you are coming into the program with some Chinese language classes already under your belt, don't worry; there are three levels to choose from. At the end of the course students will be assessed based on test scores, assignments, and attendance. Certificates for completing the course will be presented at a farewell dinner.



    Cultural activities


    Ping Yao

    - An ancient and very important city in Chinese history, Ping Yao gives students an authentic look into the ancient lives of the Chinese people.

    Calligraphy

    - An introductory class gives students a hands-on exploration of this old Chinese art form.

    Traditional handcrafts

    - Engaging activity introducing students to some traditional Chinese art.

    Ling Mountain

    - An overnight trip to Ling Mountain for some horseback riding and hiking at this beautiful and historical mountain.

    Chinese Home-stay

    - Students will meet other Chinese students who will bring them to stay at their homes in Beijing. This gives students a very authentic look at Beijing life as well as a good chance to practice the Chinese they have learned. Our home-stay program is something that makes China Study Link unique and authentic.

    Silk Market

    - Bargaining for good at one of China's most famous markets.

    Evening activities

    - Students will attend a number of evening activities including an acrobatics show, Tea houses, Peking Duck and hot pot dinners, Beijing Opera, and Chinese movie

    Tourist sights

    - Students will visit a number of key historical and famous sights in and around Beijing. These include the Great Wall, Ming Tombs, Forbidden City, Summer Palace, Beijing Museum, Peking University, Heavenly Temple, and The Beijing Zoo.

    Traditional hutong accommodation

    - Students will be staying in a hotel located in one of Beijing's traditional hutongs. This will give the students a true feel of what living in Beijing is like for the local people. The location is very safe and convenient. The hotel is outfitted with a 24-hour security system and there is a police station two buildings away.
