Our primary concern at China Study Link is the safety of our participants. There is no substitute for a feeling of safety when in a foreign country. We have tailored all of our programs around this idea.
China is a very safe country with low crime rates. The rate of violent crime in Beijing is close to 0%. Students always feel very safe while living in Beijing.
CSL’s Preventative Measures
- Cell Phones
- Low student to leader ratio
- Local language partners

- Immunizations – Recommended immunizations sometimes change. Check with you doctor.
- Medical care in China – There are many well-equipped, modern hospitals in Beijing as most cities throughout China. There will be plenty of medical care available should a participant come down with a sickness of any kind. Locations for these hospitals are covered during the participant’s orientation.
- Insurance – Full medical insurance must be purchased prior to the start of a CSL program. Please make sure the insurance policy applies while in China. CSL can provide additional travel insurance to students upon request.
